FUTRONIX innovates at CEDIA 2006 London

Innovative new products and upgrades were the focus of attention on the Futronix stand at the London CEDIA 2006 (Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association) show in June this year. The 10th CEDIA UK Expo in its new London location for the first time was the largest and most successful product and training showcase for the home technology industry to date and, as in previous years, the Futronix stand was an integral part of the event.

Much admired by expo visitors were the stunning new Eclipse Switchpanels debuting at CEDIA 2006 featuring contemporary styling with a translucent glass panel and polished stainless touch-keys.

The ultra-thin Eclipse Switchpanel was the most popular new product on Futronix's stand at CEDIA 2006.

The Eclipse switchpanel's elegant appearance and tactile appeal are achieved with a very thin wall plate and keys, made possible by sophisticated design based on advanced materials  and processing.

Futronix's screwless locking mechanism utilizes a permanently-bonded composite of plastic and steel to attain ultra-thin, secure, remountable locking. The Eclipse switchpanel is a registered design.

Eclipse switchpanels can be utilised as outstation switchpanels for P400 and P800 residential dimmers, and can be specified as switchpanels to control Futronix Hx Series Dimmers, Enviroscene light-commercial lighting controllers and PFX high-end commercial dimming systems.

Visitors already familiar with Futronix superb residential dimmers noted the latest upgraded versions of the P100, P400 and P800 dimmers, all featuring the new blue display. The latest P400's upgraded power circuit now gives it highest-in-class noise immunity and short circuit/back-EMF protection. All Futronix dimmers now come with the stylish new Futronix remote control, with keys in 2 tone grey.
